You Keep It Very Clean

Monday March 21, 2022 - Day +95

Blogging Tunes: SomaFM Drone Zone

Woah, two blog posts in as many days?  What's going on?

Well, turns out I don't have wait til Thursday to get the results from my Bone Marrow Biopsy.  The Flow Cytometry came back and it's clean.  Meaning, it shows that there is zero leukemia present in my bone marrow.

Here's the message from Lisa -- the best NP ever!

So that's proof that transplant #2 worked!  Like we expected anything else?  So now we can begin tapering the Tacrolimus, watching for GVHD, and proceeding with not just recovery but the path to being cured (again.)

Also, we got approval to swap the Voriconizole for the Posaconizole.  That's big because even though I spent 95% of the time in the shade yesterday at Floyd's double-header, my face feels a little burnt from the small amount of sun-exposure I got.  I think getting off the Vori will help.  Still, I just ordered this hat...

these gloves...

... actually I got two pairs of gloves: one pair with these "touch screen" fingers and one "fingerless" pair.  I also ordered a few long sleeve SPF shirts and pants.  With Little League in full swing (get it?) and travel tournaments in Sacramento the next two weekends, I'm taking every pre-caution.
